I got inspired by my friend to do something on my end of things. I’m not used to this whatsoever, I don’t think people do this kind of thing very much, this is my first time doing this, and it’s going to be very specific, so bare with me…

I will be doing music commissions.

The style of music I make is either Drum and Bass, or Rock of sorts.

My program of choice is FL Studio, and I am still heavily learning, as I have to dive into Music Theory more, and it could take me a while to come up with an idea, let alone finish the song due to either art/writers block, or not really knowing how to start the song itself, or just being busy in general or otherwise IRL, so keep that in mind if you actually decide to make a purchase.

Any and all discussion that can be had prior to making the song will be done before you make a purchase.

Lossless FLAC Export of main song (If you want a different format, I’ll will charge an extra $0.50 for each format. As a side note, I had issues with WAV exports the last time I messed with it (It had audio crackling), so that will involve experimenting).

MIDI exports of unique patterns.

I will unfortunately not be releasing the project (.FLP) file(s) for the song.

Pricing:

$5 – Initial Payment (This would have to be upfront before I work on the song)

$5 – Every minute in the song (as opposed to minutes worked on the song, as that would be too much) (I am not overly skilled at music, and you would have to specify how long you would want me to try to make it given how I create digital music). I typically tend to stick to somewhere maybe around 5 minutes with most of my songs (unless told otherwise). Also, unless it’s super specific or special, the shortest song I will make is 1 minute.

$0.50 - The amount of tracks/stems (not patterns) playing in the minute will affect the final cost as well.

Other things to note/What I won't do:

I don’t typically do vocals, though I have been wanting to practice singing, so keep that in mind. However I may be unwilling to that unless it’s extremely specific and would cost more (that would have to be discussed since I’m not the greatest at it).

When I create music, I tend to go at my own pace (which means it is possible the commission could take some time), and add things that I feel would fit (and sort of do things freeform). I will not go out of my way to specifically add distinct patterns to new tracks for the sole reason of increasing the price. I will not and do not condone the act of scamming, and it would leave a bad taste in my mouth if I ever did so with intent. In fact, since it's a commission, expect me to overlay (for example) different percussion samples on the same track/stem to make it more compact (I typically would put them on different tracks/stems when making music, but I would like to minimize that so someone doesn't overpay). Keep that in mind when making a purchase.

Considering I support something like Computing Freedom, all songs I make for people will fall under the Public Domain, even if it’s just a remix or something unique. I am unwilling to go through with the commission otherwise.

I will not take commissions to make a song that falls under the category of brainrot (which means, I won’t remix some random modern trend song, or even some TikTok thing you like. Preferably anything prior to 2017-ish would be okay, but it really depends). And yes, this includes any FNF songs (despite one song on my website that we don’t talk about).

I will not make a song that surrounds anything political or otherwise agenda-focused (and no, I will not make a Moonman-esque song). If something I’m making for you is going to cause some kind of controversy, or public disturbance in any negative way (in a legitimate and predictable way by my own standards), then I will turn down the commission.

I will not make a song for any NSFW or fetish related work, period (this extends to the obvious background music).

I will try to communicate and understand what your intentions are, especially if there are foreign concepts, but please do try to help me reach an understanding with concepts I am unfamiliar with (I don’t usually make other genres of music, so jumping out of what I usually do may not just happen unless it’s specific, as I don’t know what I’d be doing when I make the song).

I will not use AI of any form when it comes to making my songs. So please do not ask me about that. I would also prefer you don’t run my music through an AI.

Given the slow progress of Starters Remix and CutoutStory, I'd like to try to release something to the public to give people something to watch, along with acquiring further animation practice, so I have a mostly retro feeling, CutoutStory orientated animation in the works that I know people will like. Here is a "preview image" to hype it up (I will continue making progress on Remix as soon as I can, and I apologize once more for the slow progress. I will get things done, and I'll make sure it won't take another two years).

Prior to the main (mostly minor) announcement, I'm going to screenshot my last announcement in the server. It's short, but possibly more relevant in terms of conveying the speed of production in tandem to this one (for context, "Bulbasaur" is my friend acefox. He is a huge contributor in terms of creating Vector Graphics in Moho for the Remix project, and without him, progress would be a lot slower, so I genuinely appreciate his dedication and contribution to the project. In the server our pictures and names are set to Starters Remix characters (screenshots from the Intro) to passively hype up the project further. (For context, Starters Remix is a side project of mine. A brief description of it can be found on the main page for CutoutStory: Starters (Rewrite & Remastered) on my website. The text below is the announcement I made in the chat room for CutoutStory.)

After a long while of waiting, I've whipped up the first iteration of the Starters Remix Intro. This side series will be a great help with my own animation skills, as I definitely need to get accustom to how Dane animates so I can mimic it better. Expect Episode 1 in a few months (at minimum. It depends on how long things take). Remix will be uploaded to my site, and to Newgrounds like with CutoutStory (mainly to see if posting to Newgrounds is worth it for me, and if they will be cringe or not).

CutoutStory is still in the works, but progress is still sort of at a standstill. I'm still not used to undertaking such large projects, so bare with me (even if it's been 2-3 years lel).

I updated the previous voice reel and added some lore at the end of it. In context to the lore, some of what's said is sort of known amongst the producers or otherwise, and has been discussed before, but I've decided to mention said things more publicly (including a few things I don't think I've stated publicly, but idk lel. I already forgot most of what I said in the video, but it's likely minor repeats).

It has mostly some minor updates (A few extra lines for some characters, and some changes with some voice lines and a few songs, along with newly added songs), and the lore I mentioned prior. Anyway, going forward I will aim to avoid being a broken record with a lot of this stuff (if anyone thinks I am anyway, and if I can recall what has been said and what hasn't. Would have to check back depending on what it is, as my memory isn't great).

I'll get back to work on things. Just kick me enough times or something if you're feeling up to it, idk lmao.

Starters (Rewrite & Remastered) is officially continuing production, and along with this, I present what I have to say below.

I’m looking for artists to assist with the drawing/remastering of the Cutout style (Characters, Backgrounds, Props, Assets, etc.) This is a passion project, so no pay will be offered. Anyone who takes interest can contact me on Discord (that being kyronsaif). Due to how I am handling very specific aspects of how my projects will function, said person will undergo a form of initiation/interview of sorts, which will consist of questions you will have to answer, and depending on how that turns out, you will be allowed to assist with the project.

I look forward to seeing this project succeed in the long run (I’ve been looking forward to a form of continuation of sorts to the Starters series in a more abstract and potentially unique form since Middle School). The idea for this project really only sprung up a few years prior, and I’m happy to be able to make something of this magnitude, and I hope to produce this series with those we find along the way.
